He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at the University of Windsor, and afterwards was employed as an Emergency Department Nurse in Detroit, Michigan. He then relocated to Morgantown, West Virginia to pursue his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree at West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He maintained his employment as an ED Nurse until his graduation from Dental School.
